South Florida High School Football

South Florida Girls Basketball

With the help of Jeff Turner at Central Florida Basketball News, we have compiled a list of girls who have verbally committed to colleges in the Class of 2013 from Florida. The one thing that sticks out to us is the fact that several out of state colleges (George Washington, Georgia, Southern Miss, Tulsa) have been able to get multiple verbal commitments from prospects in the sunshine state. In-state South Florida didn’t let the out of state schools have all the fun as the Bulls joined in on the act with two commitments (McCullough & King) of their own. Unlike the men, the NCAA certifies non-scholastic events in the Fall so we expect this list to grow rather quickly after this weekend. NCAA coaches will be lined up in South Florida to watch most of the top uncommitted 2013 players in Florida and get a head start on the underclassmen to watch. The Miami Suns will be hosting Stars Under The Sun/Team Showdown in Miami while Essence and the NY Gauchos will be hosting the Show-n-Prove Showcase in West Palm Beach. Here is a complete list of committed prospects in the Class of 2013 in Florida.
